Karen Raven is the founder and principal hydrogeologist of Raven Geoscience Inc., with over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting across Western Canada and Ontario. A registered professional geoscientist (P.Geo.) in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario, and a Qualified Person (QP) under Ontario Regulation 153/04, Karen is a recognized expert in the investigation and management of contaminated sites.
Specializing in contaminant hydrogeology, Karen has led numerous complex projects in the oil and gas and land development sectors. Her work has focused on subsurface impacts from hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, PCBs, PAHs, metals, as well as LNAPL and DNAPL. With extensive knowledge of federal and provincial contaminated site regulations, Karen delivers science-based, practical solutions to challenging environmental issues.
As principal of Raven Geoscience, Karen personally oversees all consulting work.
